I give you the Grammar Hammer. It was bestowed on me by several of the IT guys not long after they trounced me in a nerf gun war. I think they felt bad about the whole “waves of nerf darts sailing through my office while I hid behind my desk” thing. Turns out small, single shot nerf guns are no match for those badass gatling gun action sorts.
Of course, “felt bad” means “let’s not get her a long range weapon” - they know better than that.
It should be noted that I started that war. There was a week of general amnesty, during which signs saying “Peace Through Superior Firepower” appeared around the office. Then all hell broke loose. I have no regrets.
